No change for customers as third lockdown takes effect

6th January 2021

With England’s third national lockdown now in effect, we’re pleased to report that services at iPort Rail are continuing to operate normally for customers wanting to move goods to and from the region, with no disruption as a result of the Brexit changes earlier this month.

While there will be an impact on many businesses themselves, we expect the effect on supply chains to be minimal compared to last year given this latest lockdown is not worldwide, and we remain committed to providing an excellent service for our freight customers throughout the region.

We are still keeping a close eye on the situation as well as following the latest health advice from the UK Government. Supporting our clients as well as the safety of our teams remain our top priorities. We are also in close contact with all key suppliers and should anything change we will provide further updates.

In the meantime, if you would like to track activity at the terminal, we invite you to view our activity tracker on the home page of our website.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with us as usual by clicking Contact Us.
